Answers
To perform a search, head to the home page or to the upper right search box on any page.
Enter your search keywords (be specific) and hit "Twapp It!".
If you are searching from the home page, you can narrow down your search via categorization.
Simply click on "Web", "Mobile", or "Desktop" to select the type of application you are looking for,
then enter your search keywords (be specific), and then hit "Twapp It!". Do note, searches are not
case sensitive (capitalizing or not does not make a difference).
While our database continues to expand daily, this isn't usually the problem. Sometimes, if the keywords that you searched
are far too generic, that error will appear. For example, while "Twitter" may be a search keyword available, it's far too generic,
hence, the error will return. Always be sure to be specific with your searches. If you are looking for a mobile client for an Iphone, search
"Iphone" or "Iphone client" instead of "Mobile" or "Mobile client". Here's another example, let's say you are looking for Joe Meebee in the
yellow pages, instead of searching for "Joe" which will return tons of irrelevant results, you search "Joe Meebee", which will return fewer
but relevant results.
Submitting an application to Twappfinder couldn't have been easier. Simply click on the "Submit App" link in the blue navigation bar above the logo,
then enter the application's name, website, and a short description, we'll then review the application, if accepted, we will add it to our database.
To report a broken application link, simply visit our contact page here.
Also make sure to mention the application name when reporting it, otherwise we can't get to it.
Below each comment, in the lower right corner, there will be a "Report" link. Click on the link, then click on "Yes, report this comment" located in the prompt that opens.
We will be notified of the reported comments, and we will get to them in a timely manner. If the comment happened to be a spam comment, click on the "More" link located
below each comment, then click on "Mark Spam".
If you haven't been in touch with the updates, Internet Explorer 6 has been released over 8 years ago, it never met the web compliance standards and never did
Internet Explorer 7. Recently, Evilnet Exploder Internet Explorer 8 was released, which is the "greatest" release yet for Microsoft, such an accomplishment
for them, while not so much for others. While Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and many others have already been following the compliance standards, web developers like us
have been creating "hacks" to keep our sites working and looking good for the older browsers. Unfortunately, Internet Explorer 8 still has some issues, furthermore,
creating a bunch of hacks for Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8 is a bit of an overkill, so we opted out. If you feel that we have sinned for not supporting it, feel
free to get in touch with us, and we'll definitely get you to create a "compatible version" for Internet Explorer 6.
To report a juicy plump bug, typo, or something else, simply visit our contact page here.
Also, if you are reporting a bug, please provide as much detail about bug reproduction as possible, so we can fix it.
As of now, we're not in need of any moderators or writers. However, we are in need of applications, if you find an application once in a while, then submit them
here. If you happened to be an app-junky, and you gathered a bunch, anywhere between 10 and thousands,
you'll need to learn how our importer works to create a "pop" (that's what we call it) that imports hundreds or even thousands at a time. If you think you qualify for this position
and have some sort of programming background to work with our importer, then drop us a line by visiting our contact us
page.
These are advertisements or "Sponsors". When application creators want their apps more publisized, this is the way to go. However,
if we don't have an advertiser, we will sometimes look at the most "discussed" or "commented on" application in our
directory, and we will feature it on the home page for that day. Sometimes however, we'll just feature an app we enjoy to use.
For more information, visit our advertising page here.
It is unfortunate to see the removal of your application(s), however, to remove an application from our directory, visit our contact us
page. Also provide sufficient proof that you are the app creator, or represent the Application's group. If you have any concerns or questions
about having your application listed here, do drop us a line.
We usually add submitted applications on a weekly basis. However, depending on how many applications were submitted, it may take a couple of
weeks to get to yours, hence, have patience with us. If your application has not been added within 4 weeks, your application may have been
declined.
